Global Steps involvement in the Global money week in Lebanon

We have come to the end of yet another amazing Global Money Week! Smashing all previous records, over 140 countries were involved in the celebrations, and the Week’s reach continues to grow worldwide!

This year’s Global Money Week theme was ‘Learn.Save.Earn’. Around the world, children and youth took part in interactive and engaging activities, held by central banks, government bodies, financial institutions, civil society and communities dedicated to supporting financial education and inclusion for young people.

Global Money Week 2017 has been our biggest yet, reaching more children and youth than ever before. Many thanks to everyone who participated in the celebrations!

Global Steps participated in the Global Money Week 2017, in collaboration with the Higher Council for Childhood.
HCH started this initiative two years ago with 2 banks (Fransabank and Bank Audi) and this year we had 9 parties that they participate to the Global Money week 2017 in Lebanon and we reached around 2000 children. We hope that the next year we will reached more and more children.

Global Steps activity North Governorate: An educational trip for around 20 students from the 7th Grade Class from “Rawdat Al Atfal Private School” in Meryata- Zgharata to Fransabank with the distribution of presents (Money Safe) for the students.
Global Steps activity in Nabatieh Governorate: An educational trip will be done for around 23 students from the 1st and 2nd Grade of “Zawtar El Gharbieh Public School” to one of the banks in Nabatieh with distribution of presents (Money Safe) for students.
Global Steps activity in Bekaa Governorate: An educational trip for around 10 students from the 7th Grade Class of “My New School Private School” in to Fransabank with the distribution of presents (Money Safe) for the students.
